CDCC Builders Inc. is looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Resident Engineer specializing in Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Sanitary (MEPFS) equipment to join our dynamic construction team in Pasay City.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete installation, integration, testing, and maintenance of crucial building utility systems. You will work on-site to ensure all engineering activities align with project blueprints, quality standards, and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on expertise in MEPFS engineering, exceptional coordination skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality construction outcomes.
As our Resident Engineer, you will bridge the gap between technical designs and physical execution, collaborating closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to drive project milestones to successful completion.
Responsibility
- Supervise the day-to-day installation, testing, and commissioning of all Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Sanitary (MEPFS) equipment on-site.
- Perform regular site inspections to ensure all equipment installations comply with approved shop drawings, contract specifications, and local building codes.
- Coordinate seamlessly with subcontractors, consultants, and project managers to resolve technical queries and alignment issues on-site.
- Review, evaluate, and approve MEPFS material submittals, equipment datasheets, and technical drawings.
- Maintain comprehensive on-site documentation, including progress reports, inspection checklists, and testing logs.
- Oversee functional testing of critical systems (e.g., booster pumps, fire pumps, sprinkler systems, and drainage lines).
- Implement and enforce strict compliance with corporate health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience as a Resident Engineer, MEPFS Inspector, or site engineer in building construction projects.
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and sanitary systems and engineering codes.
- Proficient in interpreting architectural plans, technical drawings, and CAD schematics.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
- Willingness to work full-time on-site in Pasay City, Metro Manila.
