Responsibility
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring efficient and accurate booking processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize room occupancy and revenue, including yield management and promotional campaigns.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of reservations agents to deliver exceptional service and achieve performance targets.
- Monitor and analyze booking trends, market demand, and competitor activity to optimize pricing and inventory.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and front office teams to ensure seamless guest experiences and effective communication.
- Handle complex reservations, group bookings, and VIP requests with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and industry standards in all reservations activities.
- Utilize property management systems (PMS) and other hospitality software to manage bookings and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a reservations or front office role within the hospitality industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and optimizing occupancy rates.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Proficiency in property management systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
