Responsibility
- Design and execute experimental protocols for the purification of biotherapeutics and recombinant proteins.
- Operate and maintain sophisticated laboratory instrumentation, including HPLC, FPLC, and UF/DF systems.
- Analyze, document, and interpret experimental data to drive project milestones and process optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex technical challenges in downstream processing.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, research manuscripts, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging trends in bioprocessing, purification technologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and laboratory best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a research laboratory setting, preferably in bioprocessing or protein purification.
- Strong technical knowledge of chromatography techniques (Protein A, IEX, HIC, SEC) and membrane filtration.
- Proven ability to analyze experimental data and solve complex technical problems independently.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Highly organized, meticulous with documentation, and able to manage multiple project timelines simultaneously.
- Prior experience in cGMP or pilot-scale manufacturing environments is a significant advantage.
