Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of chemical reagents, solutions, and samples for laboratory analysis.
- Perform basic chemical tests and analyses under the supervision of senior chemists.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Document and record experimental data, observations, and results in a clear and organized manner.
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Support senior staff in conducting experiments and research projects.
- Assist in inventory management of laboratory supplies and chemicals.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve laboratory processes.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a laboratory environment (internships or academic projects may be considered).
- Strong understanding of basic chemical principles and laboratory techniques.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment such as pH meters, spectrophotometers, and centrifuges.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets).
