Responsibility

  • Lead daily laboratory QC operations, including sample testing, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with international food safety standards (ISO 22000, HACCP, Halal).
  • Conduct analytical testing using advanced instrumentation (HPLC, GC, spectrophotometry).
  • Collaborate with R&D and production teams to optimize flavor formulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and laboratory records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Train and mentor junior lab technicians on best practices and safety protocols.
  • Participate in audits and inspections to uphold certification standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a QC laboratory, preferably in the food or flavor industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 22000, HACCP, and Halal certification requirements.
  • Proficiency in analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, spectrophotometry).
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian is advantageous.
