Responsibility
- Conduct experimental and computational research on ultrasonic antifouling mechanisms for marine applications.
- Design, develop, and test ultrasonic transducers and systems tailored for antifouling performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ultrasonic solutions into marine structures and vessels.
- Analyze biofouling data and ultrasonic efficiency using advanced diagnostic tools and software.
- Prepare and present technical reports, research papers, and patent applications for innovative findings.
- Support field trials and real-world testing of antifouling systems in marine environments.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in marine biotechnology, acoustics, and materials science.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the institute.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics, Marine Technology, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in ultrasonic systems, antifouling research, or marine engineering.
- Strong background in experimental design, data analysis, and laboratory testing.
- Proficiency in CAD software, finite element analysis (FEA), or acoustic modeling tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
- Familiarity with marine industry standards, environmental regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Publication record in peer-reviewed journals or conferences is a plus.
