Responsibility
- Monitor and control photovoltaic (PV) power plant operations to ensure optimal performance and energy output.
- Conduct regular inspections of solar panels, inverters, and other critical equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate logs of system performance, energy generation, and maintenance activities.
- Respond to alarms and emergencies, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule and execute preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on plant performance and operational metrics.
- Collaborate with engineering and management teams to implement process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in power plant operations, preferably in solar or renewable energy sectors.
- Strong knowledge of PV systems, SCADA, and power plant monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA, NFPA, local regulations) and emergency response procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a shift-based environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, data analysis tools, and technical reporting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
