Responsibility
- Design and develop electro-mechanical systems, components, and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Create and maintain detailed technical drawings, schematics, and BOMs (Bill of Materials) for production and assembly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, and software engineers) to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Manage and organize engineering documentation, ensuring accuracy, version control, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ANSI).
- Conduct feasibility studies, prototype testing, and design validation to optimize product performance and reliability.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and components, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design or documentation issues, providing innovative and practical solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in electro-mechanical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electro-mechanical design, with a strong portfolio of projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360) and PLM/PDM systems.
- Experience with technical documentation, including engineering drawings, manuals, and compliance reports.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and tolerances for mechanical and electrical components.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IPC, UL) and regulatory requirements.
- Fluent in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
