Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize high-energy mid-IR laser systems for ultrafast applications.
- Lead and manage research projects, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and high-quality results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, physicists, and academic researchers.
- Conduct experimental tests, data analysis, and performance evaluations of laser systems.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
- Mentor junior researchers and students, fostering a culture of innovation and learning.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrafast optics and integrate new technologies into research projects.
- Assist in securing research funding through grant proposals and industry partnerships.
Qualifications
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing and working with ultrafast laser systems, particularly in the mid-IR range.
- Strong background in optical engineering, nonlinear optics, and laser physics.
- Proficiency in experimental techniques, data acquisition, and analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Demonstrated track record of publishing research in high-impact journals.
- Experience with grant writing and securing research funding is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
