Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the engineering department, ensuring all M&E systems function optimally.
- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Oversee energy management initiatives to reduce costs and enhance sustainability in line with green hospitality practices.
- Collaborate with hotel management to align engineering operations with guest experience and service excellence.
- Manage vendor contracts, procurement, and budgeting for engineering supplies and services.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and brand protocols for all engineering activities.
- Train, mentor, and develop engineering staff to maintain a high-performance team.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of property infrastructure, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field; professional certification (e.g., PMP, LEED) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel engineering or facilities management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and building automation.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols, OSHA standards, and local Indonesian regulations.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and MS Office.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
