Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and heavy industrial equipment.
- Diagnose electrical faults and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Install, repair, and upgrade electrical components, motors, and control systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company protocols.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance in detailed reports.
- Troubleshoot PLC systems and automate processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and operational staff.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in heavy industry, manufacturing, or a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, motors, transformers, and industrial control systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) is a plus.
- Familiarity with safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) and PPE requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
