Responsibility
- Provide first-line technical support for building operations, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to electrical and computer engineering systems.
- Monitor and maintain building management systems (BMS) to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with onsite personnel to diagnose and address technical problems promptly and effectively.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, HVAC, and other critical systems to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the implementation of system upgrades and new technologies to enhance building operations.
- Document all technical issues, solutions, and maintenance activities in a detailed and organized manner.
- Provide training and guidance to non-technical staff on basic system operations and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies in all engineering activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a systems engineering or technical support role, preferably in building operations or facility management.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems, HVAC, and building management systems (BMS).
- Strong understanding of computer networking, automation, and control systems.
- Familiarity with SCADA, PLC, and IoT technologies is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM), LEED, or similar are advantageous.
