As a Research Associate, you will work alongside leading clinicians and scientists, managing research protocols, facilitating data collection, and ensuring the highest standards of integrity in a high-stakes clinical environment. Responsibility
- Coordinate and implement pediatric brain tumor research protocols in accordance with institutional and ethical guidelines.
- Manage patient recruitment, informed consent processes, and follow-up schedules for ongoing clinical trials.
- Collect, verify, and maintain high-quality clinical research data using electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
- Prepare and submit regulatory documentation, including IRB amendments and progress reports.
- Facilitate effective communication between clinical staff, laboratory personnel, and external research partners.
- Conduct literature reviews and assist in the preparation of research abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.
- Monitor patient progress and assist in the management of adverse event reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in clinical or laboratory research, preferably in an oncology or pediatric setting.
- Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and human research ethics.
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, or STATA) and data management tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with families and medical professionals.
