Responsibility
- Assist in the collection, cleaning, and integration of healthcare datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Support the development and validation of healthcare models using statistical and econometric techniques.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform research objectives and policy recommendations.
- Collaborate with senior researchers to prepare reports, presentations, and academic publications based on findings.
- Maintain documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analysis processes to ensure reproducibility and transparency.
- Assist in the design and implementation of surveys or experiments to gather primary data for research projects.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and tools in healthcare analytics, data science, and modeling to enhance research capabilities.
- Provide administrative support for research projects, including scheduling meetings, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing project timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Healthcare Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience with data analysis, statistical modeling, or econometrics, preferably in healthcare or public policy.
- Proficiency in R, Python, Stata, or SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting, with strong time management and organizational skills.
