Responsibility
- Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate activities for children aged 0-6.
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for early learners.
- Monitor and document children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support each child's individual needs.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development workshops.
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
- Follow established routines and schedules while adapting to the needs of the group.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery, playgroup, or childcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for early childhood development.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including rotating shifts as required.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Familiarity with early childhood education frameworks and best practices.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
