Responsibility
- Design and deliver play-based, inquiry-led English lessons tailored to a 5–6-year-old’s learning style.
- Implement IB PYP methodologies to foster language acquisition, cognitive growth, and social skills.
- Create a bilingual-friendly classroom environment that encourages confidence in English communication.
- Develop age-appropriate learning materials, including games, stories, and hands-on activities.
- Assess the child’s progress through observation and informal evaluations, adapting lessons as needed.
- Collaborate with parents to provide feedback and recommendations for continued growth.
- Incorporate multisensory teaching techniques to engage young learners effectively.
- Maintain a positive, patient, and encouraging demeanor to build trust and motivation.
Qualifications
- Native American English speaker with clear pronunciation and fluency.
- Proven experience teaching IB PYP or early childhood education (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
- Strong understanding of play-based and inquiry-led learning principles.
- Ability to create engaging, child-centered lesson plans for young learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with children and parents.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for early childhood development.
- Familiarity with bilingual education strategies is a plus.
- TEFL, TESOL, or early education certification is highly advantageous.
