Responsibility
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for children aged 2-6.
- Monitor and assess child development (social, emotional, cognitive) and provide progress reports to parents.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support each child’s learning journey.
- Organize and lead educational activities, including storytelling, arts & crafts, and outdoor play.
- Maintain classroom discipline using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development programs.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols in compliance with local regulations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent certification).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in preschool/childcare teaching (fresh graduates with training may apply).
- Letter of Notification (LON) from the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young learners.
- Ability to work rotating shifts (morning/afternoon) as required.
- Familiarity with Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or play-based learning approaches is a plus.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and health screenings.
