Responsibility
- Assist in the design, coordination, and execution of health services research studies, specifically focusing on mental health initiatives.
- Conduct literature reviews and synthesize findings to support grant proposals and manuscript preparation.
- Manage participant recruitment, informed consent processes, and follow-up activities in clinical or community settings.
- Perform data collection, entry, and cleaning, ensuring compliance with strict data integrity and ethical standards.
- Coordinate administrative tasks, including IRB submissions, documentation, and reporting to regulatory bodies.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between internal research teams and external stakeholders/community partners.
- Monitor study progress and resolve operational challenges to ensure projects are completed within established timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Public Health, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare discipline.
- Prior experience in clinical or community-based research is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata, or NVivo).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; familiarity with local languages is a plus for community outreach.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven academic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to maintaining participant confidentiality and research ethics.
