Responsibility
- Assist in conducting literature reviews and synthesizing research findings in English language and literature.
- Collect, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data for research projects.
- Draft and edit research reports, academic papers, and presentations under the guidance of senior researchers.
- Collaborate with faculty members and peers to develop research methodologies and frameworks.
- Support the preparation of grant proposals and funding applications.
- Attend and contribute to departmental meetings, workshops, and conferences.
- Maintain accurate records of research activities and ensure compliance with ethical standards.
- Assist in the coordination of research-related events and seminars.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English Language, Literature, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in academic research, preferably in a university or research institution setting.
- Strong analytical, writing, and editing skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in research tools and software (e.g., NVivo, SPSS, or qualitative data analysis tools).
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced academic environment.
- Familiarity with academic citation styles (e.g., MLA, APA, Chicago).
- Demonstrated interest in literary analysis, cultural studies, or applied linguistics.
