Responsibility
- Assist in designing, implementing, and evaluating algorithms, models, or software systems for ongoing research projects.
- Collect, process, and analyze large datasets using statistical and computational methods.
- Collaborate with faculty, PhD students, and industry partners to publish high-impact research papers in top-tier conferences/journals.
- Develop and maintain experimental prototypes, simulations, or tools to support research objectives.
- Document research findings, prepare technical reports, and present results at internal/external meetings.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in computer science (e.g., AI, quantum computing, NLP) and propose innovative solutions.
- Support grant writing and proposal development for funding opportunities.
- Mentor junior researchers or interns and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive lab culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
- Proven experience in programming (Python, Java, C++) and familiarity with data structures, algorithms, or ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a research-oriented mindset.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SQL) and visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Tableau).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for technical documentation and presentations.
- Ability to work independently and in teams in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Prior contributions to academic research, open-source projects, or industry R&D are a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) or high-performance computing is advantageous.
