Responsibility
- Conduct laboratory experiments related to microbiome analysis, including DNA/RNA extraction, sequencing, and metabolic profiling.
- Assist in the design and execution of translational research studies focused on biomarker discovery.
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets using bioinformatics tools and statistical methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, bioinformaticians, and wet-lab scientists.
- Prepare research reports, presentations, and manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with ethical and safety protocols.
- Support grant applications and funding proposals under the guidance of senior researchers.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in microbiome research and translational medicine.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Microbiology, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- Prior experience in molecular biology techniques (PCR, NGS, ELISA) or bioinformatics (R, Python, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, GraphPad, or bioinformatics pipelines).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for scientific reporting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
- Familiarity with translational research or clinical studies is a plus.
- Publication record in peer-reviewed journals is advantageous.
