Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and label medications, including compounding and packaging, while maintaining strict hygiene and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory, including stocking, organizing, and tracking pharmaceutical supplies to prevent shortages or expirations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries, offering medication counseling, and resolving concerns professionally.
- Process insurance claims and handle billing procedures to ensure smooth transactions for patients and healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation in compliance with confidentiality and data protection laws.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care initiatives, including medication therapy management and adherence programs.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on pharmaceutical advancements and best practices.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (e.g., PTCB, NHA, or equivalent international certification).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting, preferably in a retail or clinical environment.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, medication names, and dosage forms.
- Proficiency in pharmacy software and inventory management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications and managing records.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
