Responsibility
- Oversee and perform complex laboratory tests, including hematology, microbiology, chemistry, and immunology, to ensure precise and timely results.
- Develop, validate, and implement new laboratory protocols and procedures in alignment with global healthcare standards (e.g., ISO, CAP, CLIA).
- Supervise and mentor a team of medical technologists and lab assistants, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality control measures, regulatory requirements, and biosafety protocols to maintain laboratory accreditation.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret test results and provide clinical insights for patient diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Manage laboratory inventory, equipment calibration, and maintenance to optimize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate emerging technologies (e.g., automation, AI-driven diagnostics) into laboratory workflows.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Licensed or certified as a Medical Technologist (e.g., ASCP, AMLT, or equivalent international certification).
- Proven expertise in laboratory information systems (LIS), quality management, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO 15189).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to lead high-impact initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
