Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and organizing pharmaceutical supplies.
- Process and verify patient prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and offering guidance on medication usage.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in digital or physical systems.
- Prepare and label medications, including compounding sterile and non-sterile products when required.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless pharmacy operations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and hygiene standards to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in Pharmacy Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician or Assistant in a retail, hospital, or clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, dosage calculations, and drug interactions.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
