Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of greenhouse facilities, ensuring optimal growing conditions for crops.
- Implement and monitor AI-driven systems for climate control, irrigation, and nutrient management.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret agricultural data to improve yield, quality, and resource efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute research experiments in urban farming.
- Maintain compliance with biosafety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for greenhouse management.
- Train and supervise junior staff or interns in greenhouse best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in agritech and sustainable agriculture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agricultural Science, Horticulture, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in greenhouse management, hydroponics, or controlled-environment agriculture.
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications in agriculture, IoT sensors, or automation systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, interpretation, and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian is beneficial.
