Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis.
- Develop and automate reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.
- Document data processes, workflows, and technical specifications for future reference and compliance.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in data engineering, analytics, and reporting to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in data engineering, analytics, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for data manipulation and automation.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git) is preferred.
