Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on plant machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and implement effective repair solutions.
- Develop and execute maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan.
- Collaborate with production teams to address equipment failures and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards during all maintenance operations.
- Recommend and implement upgrades or modifications to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and operators on best practices for equipment care and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical controls.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Experience with CMMS or similar maintenance management software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
