Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Xero accounting software.
- Process and reconcile bank transactions, invoices, and expenses on a regular basis.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for clients.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in payroll processing and ensure timely payments to employees and vendors.
- Collaborate with clients to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights.
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for all financial documents.
- Stay updated on the latest Xero features and accounting best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, with expertise in Xero.
- Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and Google Sheets.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets accurately.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and tax compliance is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Certification in Xero or QuickBooks is an advantage.
