Responsibility
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and execute payment runs, including wire transfers and checks.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and vendor information.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper approval and coding of invoices.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and financial reporting.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue payments to maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and team interactions.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools.
