Responsibility
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret design concepts and convert them into precise, scalable drawings.
- Review and validate technical drawings for accuracy, compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ANSI), and adherence to project specifications.
- Modify and update existing drawings based on feedback, revisions, or changes in project scope.
- Prepare and organize drawing sets, including bills of materials (BOM), annotations, and dimensions for manufacturing or construction.
- Ensure all documentation is version-controlled and properly archived for future reference.
- Provide technical support to project teams by clarifying design intent and resolving drafting-related queries.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD tools, techniques, and industry best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Technical Drafter, CAD Designer, or similar role, preferably in engineering, construction, or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar) and strong portfolio showcasing technical drawings.
- In-depth knowledge of technical drawing standards (e.g., GD&T, ISO, ANSI) and dimensioning practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies in complex designs.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and interpret technical requirements.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) or PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems is a plus.
