Responsibility
- Develop, deploy, and maintain AEC-specific software applications, including BIM, CAD, and project management tools.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to identify software needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring smooth adoption of new technologies.
- Optimize existing applications to improve performance, scalability, and user experience in AEC workflows.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in AEC technology (e.g., AI, IoT, VR/AR) and assess their applicability to projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues to minimize downtime in critical project phases.
- Document software configurations, workflows, and best practices for knowledge sharing across teams.
- Participate in client demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of AEC solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, application engineering, or AEC technology solutions.
- Proficiency in BIM tools (Revit, ArchiCAD), CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), or similar AEC applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate technical requirements into user-friendly solutions.
- Experience with API integrations, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), or database management is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
