Responsibility
- Develop and refine 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD for coldroom and industrial storage projects.
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs and material estimations to support costing and procurement.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure designs meet technical and budgetary requirements.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including bills of quantities (BOQ), specifications, and as-built drawings.
- Assist in cost analysis and budget tracking to ensure projects remain on schedule and within financial constraints.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to verify material quantities, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Review and validate technical drawings and calculations for compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Provide on-site support during project execution to address drafting or QS-related queries and adjustments.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in drafting (AutoCAD) and quantity surveying, preferably in construction or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and other drafting software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation techniques.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and attention-to-detail skills for accurate take-offs and documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with BOQ preparation, tendering processes, and contract administration.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
