In this role, youâll enjoy a competitive salary of up to PHP 190,000 per month, a PHP 50,000 sign-on bonus, and a PHP 50,000 referral bonus for bringing in qualified AU tax professionals. Responsibility
- Supervise and review the preparation of Australian tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ATO regulations.
- Lead a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to address complex tax issues and provide strategic advice to clients.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, BAS, and other compliance documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting and finance, to streamline tax processes and improve efficiency.
- Stay updated on changes in Australian tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and optimize tax strategies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to address tax-related inquiries and provide solutions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize benefits for clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Australian tax accounting, preferably in a public practice or outsourcing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements (e.g., ATO, GST, BAS, FBT).
- Proven experience in supervising or leading a team of tax professionals.
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Xero Tax, MYOB, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
