Responsibility
- Manage and record daily financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments, with meticulous accuracy.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are properly classified and reconciled.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, including calculations, deductions, and tax compliance.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a monthly basis to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Prepare and submit government-mandated financial reports, including tax filings and social security contributions.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable, following up on outstanding balances and resolving discrepancies.
- Generate financial reports (e.g., balance sheets, income statements) to support management decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial data integrity and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and local tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot and correct discrepancies in financial data.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- High ethical standards and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
