Responsibility
- Develop a fully functional Shopify e-commerce store from scratch, including theme customization and integration of essential apps.
- Implement subscription-based functionality to enable recurring orders for the organic coffee brand.
- Collaborate with designers and marketers to ensure the store aligns with brand identity and conversion goals.
- Optimize the site for speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness to enhance user experience.
- Integrate payment gateways, shipping solutions, and third-party apps to streamline operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify themes, plugins, and custom code.
- Ensure the store is SEO-friendly and adheres to best practices for search engine visibility.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and updates to keep the store running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, with a portfolio of live Shopify stores you’ve built or customized.
- Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs.
- Experience with Shopify theme development and customization, including subscription models.
- Familiarity with Shopify apps (e.g., ReCharge, Klaviyo, Yotpo) and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce and Shopify stores.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
