Responsibility
- Deliver engaging, structured English lessons to students of varying proficiency levels (kids to adults) via our online platform.
- Follow a customized curriculum and adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and learning goals.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, conversations, and feedback, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Maintain a professional, punctual, and energetic teaching demeanor in all virtual classroom sessions.
- Utilize digital tools and multimedia resources (e.g., whiteboards, videos, games) to enhance lesson interactivity.
- Collaborate with the ET-Phone team to refine teaching materials and share best practices.
- Keep accurate records of attendance, performance, and lesson notes in the company’s system.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to continuously improve teaching skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field (or equivalent teaching experience).
- TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification (preferred but not mandatory; training provided for qualified candidates).
- Native or near-native English proficiency with clear pronunciation and strong communication skills.
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (online or offline), especially with non-native speakers.
- Reliable high-speed internet (minimum 10 Mbps) and a quiet, professional workspace with a webcam and headset.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to troubleshoot basic platform issues (e.g., Zoom, proprietary ESL software).
- Passion for education and a patient, empathetic approach to student challenges.
- Availability to teach during peak hours (flexible schedules, including evenings/weekends for global time zones).
