Responsibility
- Analyze and validate geospatial data to ensure accuracy and relevance in digital mapping systems.
- Identify and correct discrepancies or errors in map data, including points of interest, road networks, and geographical boundaries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data collection and processing methodologies.
- Utilize data analysis tools and software to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mapping standards, industry trends, and best practices.
- Document findings, report inconsistencies, and recommend improvements to enhance data quality.
- Work independently in a remote environment while adhering to project deadlines and quality benchmarks.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data workflows and automation processes.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) with excellent communication skills.
- Proven experience in data analysis, geospatial data, or a related field (entry-level candidates with strong analytical skills are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or GIS software (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS).
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote, part-time capacity.
- Familiarity with digital mapping platforms (e.g., Google Maps, OpenStreetMap) is a plus.
- High-speed internet connection and a reliable work setup in Bali.
