Responsibility
- Manage incoming calls and emails, providing professional and compassionate assistance to patients.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and medical records with accuracy.
- Coordinate between patients, doctors, and healthcare staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle billing inquiries, process payments, and assist with insurance claims as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and preparing reports.
- Resolve patient concerns and escalate issues to the appropriate medical staff when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration is a plus.
