BruntWork is seeking a Remote IT Support & Systems Operations Manager to lead IT operations for a cutting-edge global forex trading platform. In this role, you’ll oversee critical systems, ensure seamless technical support for international teams, and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Based in the vibrant regions of Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung), you’ll enjoy the flexibility of remote work while contributing to a dynamic fintech ecosystem. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining high availability, resolving complex technical issues, and optimizing IT workflows to support global trading operations.

Responsibility

  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution for a global forex platform.
  • Lead a remote IT support team, ensuring timely and effective assistance for employees across multiple time zones.
  • Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Implement and maintain IT security protocols, including access controls, data protection, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deploy, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Develop and document IT policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline operations and reduce downtime.
  • Monitor system performance metrics and proactively address potential issues before they impact business operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to end-users on platform tools, cybersecurity awareness, and IT best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in IT support, systems administration, or operations management, preferably in a remote or global environment.
  • Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization, and network management.
  • Hands-on experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk), ITIL frameworks, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues under pressure.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, including firewall management, encryption, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate with international teams and stakeholders.
  • Availability to work flexible hours to support global operations (part-time, remote).
