Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end contractor onboarding, including documentation, compliance, and orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored for a remote workforce, ensuring alignment with local and international labor laws.
- Foster contractor engagement through regular check-ins, feedback sessions, and initiatives that promote a positive remote work culture.
- Oversee HR administrative tasks, including payroll coordination, benefits administration, and record-keeping for remote employees and contractors.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify retention strategies, address contractor concerns, and improve overall satisfaction and productivity.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure HR processes support business objectives and remote work best practices.
- Monitor contractor performance and provide support to managers in addressing performance-related issues in a remote setting.
- Stay updated on HR trends, remote work tools, and compliance requirements to continuously improve HR operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on contractor management, onboarding, or remote HR operations.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements, particularly in Southeast Asia or Indonesia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and support a remote workforce effectively.
- Proficiency in HRIS tools, payroll systems, and remote collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Trello, or Asana).
- Self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a remote work environment.
- Experience working in a multicultural or global team is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
