Responsibility
- Manage and organize patient records, appointments, and follow-ups with precision and confidentiality.
- Coordinate communication between healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies via email, phone, or chat.
- Handle data entry, billing, and invoicing tasks to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Prepare and distribute medical reports, prescriptions, and other documentation as required.
- Assist with scheduling and rescheduling appointments, including sending reminders to patients.
- Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) systems with attention to detail.
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, and organizing digital documents.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic inquiries from patients or staff in a professional and empathetic manner.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar healthcare support role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and familiarity with EHR systems is a plus.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance awareness preferred).
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace to ensure uninterrupted productivity.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
