Responsibility
- Oversee and execute full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly general ledger (GL) reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and variance analyses for management review.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Manage vendor and client invoicing, including dispute resolution and aging reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support business growth.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and audit trails to mitigate financial risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AP/AR/GL roles, preferably in a global or VMS industry.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with international teams.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) with exceptional communication skills.
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and intercompany reconciliations is highly desirable.
