job description
Are you a wordsmith with a passion for driving action through compelling copy? BruntWork is seeking a Remote Direct Response Copywriter to craft high-converting campaigns for nonprofit organizations and restaurant brands. This is a flexible, part-time role (20 hours/week) perfect for creative professionals who thrive in a results-driven environment.
In this role, you’ll develop persuasive, benefit-focused content that inspires donations, boosts sales, and builds brand loyalty. Whether you’re writing email sequences, landing pages, or social media ads, your words will directly impact revenue and mission-driven outcomes. Work from the comfort of Bali’s vibrant digital nomad hubs—Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, or beyond—while collaborating with a dynamic, remote-first team.
If you have a knack for direct response marketing, a deep understanding of nonprofit and F&B audiences, and a portfolio that proves your ability to convert readers into customers or donors, we want to hear from you.
Responsibility
- Write high-converting direct response copy for emails, landing pages, ads, and sales funnels tailored to nonprofit and restaurant clients.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align copy with brand voice, campaign goals, and audience psychology.
- Research target audiences to identify pain points, desires, and triggers that drive action (donations, purchases, sign-ups).
- Optimize copy based on A/B test results, analytics, and performance metrics to maximize conversions.
- Develop urgency-driven and benefit-focused headlines, CTAs, and value propositions.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, grammatical accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Stay updated on direct response marketing trends and apply best practices to all projects.
- Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Direct Response Copywriter, preferably in nonprofit, restaurant, or e-commerce sectors.
- Portfolio showcasing high-converting copy (e.g., sales pages, email sequences, ads) with measurable results.
- Strong understanding of persuasion principles (e.g., AIDA, PAS, scarcity, social proof).
- Excellent command of English with impeccable grammar, spelling, and stylistic adaptability.
- Ability to write in multiple tones (emotional for nonprofits, promotional for restaurants) while maintaining authenticity.
- Familiarity with SEO basics and keyword integration for digital content.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
- Availability to commit to 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
