Responsibility
- Accurately input and update international freight and logistics data into ERP systems and databases.
- Verify and cross-check inventory records, shipment details, and customs documentation for compliance.
- Generate and maintain reports on freight movements, delivery statuses, and inventory levels using Excel or similar tools.
- Collaborate with logistics coordinators, warehouse teams, and external partners to ensure data consistency.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in data entries, escalating issues as needed to maintain operational accuracy.
- Process and track shipment documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
- Support month-end closing activities by compiling and validating financial and operational data.
- Adhere to data confidentiality and security protocols to protect sensitive business information.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in data entry, logistics, or supply chain operations, with a focus on international freight.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high volumes of data with minimal errors.
- Familiarity with inventory management, customs documentation, and shipping terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting tight deadlines.
- Basic understanding of incoterms, HS codes, and international trade compliance is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related fields is advantageous.
