Responsibility
- Conduct geotechnical investigations, soil analysis, and site assessments for civil engineering projects.
- Design and evaluate foundation systems, retaining structures, and slope stability solutions.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, calculations, and technical drawings using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, PLAXIS).
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review and interpret geotechnical data, laboratory test results, and field reports to inform design decisions.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and international engineering standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
- Participate in virtual project meetings, site inspections (when required), and client presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field (Masterâs degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, foundation design, or civil infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio, SLOPE/W) and CAD tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and slope stability analysis.
- Experience with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom) and project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
