Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults, replacing parts or components as necessary.
- Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve equipment-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical systems or upgrades.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician in a production or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts, as required.
