As a Senior QA/Test Engineer, you will lead both manual and automated testing efforts, including API testing, UAT, regression testing, and bug tracking. Your expertise will help us deliver seamless, bug-free software that exceeds client expectations. Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Perform manual testing for exploratory, usability, and edge-case scenarios.
- Conduct API testing to validate backend functionality, performance, and security.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions and collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Execute regression testing to ensure new updates do not introduce existing issues.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to development teams.
- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and coverage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in QA/testing, with a focus on automation testing.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman, JMeter).
- Strong knowledge of API testing (REST, SOAP) and related tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
- Experience with bug-tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests into deployment workflows.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote team.
