Responsibility
- Lead and manage GIS and technology projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and maintain project plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to proactively address challenges.
- Monitor project progress, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Manage client relationships, gather requirements, and ensure deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management.
- Conduct post-project reviews to assess outcomes, document lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance project delivery and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, GIS, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in GIS, IT, or technology-related projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Familiarity with GIS technologies and solutions is a plus.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
