Responsibility
- Process and submit Australian mortgage loan applications with 100% accuracy and compliance with lender policies.
- Assess client financial documents (payslips, tax returns, credit reports) to determine loan eligibility.
- Prepare and verify lender-specific forms, including application packs, disclosure statements, and settlement documents.
- Maintain and update CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, ApplyOnline) with real-time client and loan data.
- Liaise with brokers, lenders, and clients to resolve discrepancies or request additional documentation.
- Monitor loan progress from submission to settlement, proactively addressing delays or issues.
- Ensure adherence to Australian regulatory requirements (NCCP, Privacy Act, AML/CTF).
- Provide exceptional customer service via email/phone, clarifying loan terms and next steps for clients.
Qualifications
- Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (or equivalent; mandatory for Australian compliance).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in mortgage loan processing, underwriting, or banking operations.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian mortgage products (home loans, refinance, investment loans).
- Proficiency in loan origination software (e.g., ApplyOnline, Mercury, LOANMATE) and CRM tools.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial statements and credit reports.
