Responsibility
- Solicit and process agricultural loan and deposit account applications from farmers, cooperatives, and agribusinesses.
- Conduct thorough credit assessments and risk evaluations to ensure loan viability and compliance with bank policies.
- Manage and monitor loan portfolios, including disbursements, repayments, and delinquency tracking.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and encourage long-term partnerships.
- Implement collection strategies for past-due loans, including negotiations, payment plans, and legal actions if necessary.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on loan performance, delinquency rates, and recovery efforts to management.
- Educate clients on financial literacy, loan terms, and best practices for sustainable agricultural financing.
- Collaborate with local agricultural agencies, cooperatives, and government programs to identify funding opportunities and support community development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Agriculture, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in banking, microfinance, or agricultural lending (fresh graduates with strong internship experience may be considered).
- Proven track record in loan processing, credit analysis, and collections management.
- Strong understanding of agricultural value chains, rural economies, and the financial needs of farmers and agribusinesses.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Proficiency in financial software, MS Office (especially Excel), and data management tools.
- Ability to work independently in rural settings, with a willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; knowledge of local dialects (e.g., Balinese) is a plus.
